Tricia Guiguet has stepped down as President of CVRS for health reasons. We are grateful for all she gave to the role. During her brief term she arranged an excellent roster of speakers for the coming year, and we will all enjoy the results of that work at our meetings. We wish her well, will continue to call on her help and good ideas in the months ahead, and look forward to seeing her at our 12 December Christmas party.
I am glad to return as President. A club like ours runs on teamwork, and I will be counting on an executive with a wide range of skills and experience, and on members who want to see CVRS thrive. Many hands make light work, so if you can lend one (on a committee, at an event, or simply with an idea), please let me or any other executive member know.
It is our shared love of rhododendrons and gardening that brings us together. I look forward to seeing you at our meetings and to a happy year in the garden and in the club.
